You'll soon be able to get your hands on the new AFCB kit

Well we have waited all summer but with the revealing of the home kit already it won't be long before the new strip will finally be on sale. It has been rumoured that the club will sell the shirts on 24 July and a second allocation might be available from 8 August. There has also been some sneaky teasing pictures of the third kit which is said to be putting fans rather in the pink, but it is the home kit that will probably be most in demand. They look great!

While the shirts have made an appearance online and will be used in the USA with the pre-season friendly against Philadelphia Union tonight, the fans want to get hold of the shirts for themselves and who wouldn't want such a precious souvenir of their team's first appearance in the Premier League? The price might set a few back but the club shop might be pleased to see the shirts also available in other national sports shops to ease the demand a little. It will indeed be great to go into some of the leading sports shops and ti see the Cherries' shirt hanging next to the Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd shirts etc. Being in such company is going to be special.

As for the designs of the new kits I am lucky to have been in touch with Shirt Tales author Gareth Davies, who should be able to give us all a rundown of some of the background to the new kits and why they turned out like they did before the start of next season - fingers crossed!
