Don't bank on a goalless draw for Everton v AFCB

If there are two more attacking sides than Everton and AFCB in the Premier League then they deserve to be called the entertainers this season. Between Everton and Bournemouth this season we have seen a three- three draw in the league and a 0-2 away win for  Everton in the cup and I can only see more goals coming at Goodison.

Everton got the better of AFCB in the cup this year.

Some would argue that both teams have problems in defending and are too open. That may be so and while Everton have difficulty in holding on to leads, AFCB give away too many goals from set pieces. Any defensive purists may find this a disappointing game as a prospect, but if both teams know that their best way of defending is to attack then it should be a great match.
AFCB did not play all of their first 11 against Everton in the FA Cup and they came up short. This is a match when they can repay the fans a little by showing us what they can really do at a great ground against a team that has may be just edged ahead in terms of performance and league position. Everton can't rely on their reputation though, and if their last few home games are anything to go by their fans will be far from happy if they go behind. They'll know the table could look quite different after this match.

I am hoping that Callum Wilson will be able to show our fans what they have been missing and it would be great to see Harry Arter in contention for a place. It is now April and Eddie Howe is still having to use a lot of his 25-man squad which may be good in that lots of players are getting experience but it has meant that the Cherries have not really had the settled side that we have come to get used to in recent seasons. The striker options for AFCB should be good though and scoring goals away from home does not seem to have caused a great deal of difficulty for the Cherries this season so Everton will have their work cut out in this one.
