Easy goals for Spurs

Tottenham played well and fully deserved their win over AFB. But they did it at a canter. There was not enough organisation from the Cherries in the two corners that led to goals and really none of the four goals were so amazing that AFCB couldn't have made it more difficult for Spurs.
AFCB have to pick themselves up fast.
The second goal scored by Song was probably the best Tottenham goal. Even then the ball was lost in midfield with Wilshere looking to play a ball forward and Kane was able to get the ball out from under his feet quickly with a lay off to Son who did the rest.

AFCB want sides to have to fight hard to get anything against them. They almost need a reason to do this though, like going a man down against Man Utd or feeling aggrieved about some other kind of decision. If Francis was annoyed about the corner kick that led to the first goal though, AFCB still didn't defend the corner well and they really left Moussa Dembele free at the back.

Harry Kane didn't want to miss out on adding to his goal tally and to score in the 47th minute was just what Eddie Howe will have warned against. Wilshere again gave the ball away when AFCB looked comfortable in midfield it was not his best game and getting injured just gave Howe another headache. Staying in the game is something that the Cherries did well at Liverpool and Southampton, but they were unable to get close to Spurs at any stage. Kane must have been thinking this is too easy when he held off Francis and had the whole goal to aim at to finish off the match. It was all over at three-nil, even though there was a fourth goal. By that stage the stuffing had been taken out of AFCB and they probably just wanted to get off the pitch and think about the next game.

There's not a lot of things that the players will want to look back on from this game but they will need to find something extra if they are to get the three points they so desperately want against Middlesbrough.
