As mentioned earlier in the week it was likely that AFCB would swoop for a combative midfielder and they have gone for Jack Collison from West Ham on a month's loan deal. It looks like he will be drafted straight into tonight's team. The Welsh international has been out of favour at West Ham under Sam Alardyce, but he is a player with proven ability at Championship and Premiership level. The 24 year old will fill the space left by the injuries to Harry Arter and Shaun MacDonald.
Collison has already appeared at the Goldsands stadium earlier this summer when he scored the second goal in West Ham's 2:0 victory over AFCB in Stephen Purches' testimonial game. He has only come back to fitness this summer having suffered a bad knee injury in the 2012/13 season that kept him out of contention for four months of the season. Still, his fire power and tackling ability is something that the Cherries could do with in this evenings game as they take on Leeds Utd. Collison is used to the big stage having scored against teams like Arsenal already in his career.
For West Ham he wears the number 10 but is most likely to slot into AFCB's centre midfield. He has excellent experience at this level having helped the Hammers to promotion from the Championship in 2011/12.
Having been picked as a substitute for his country's last international match against Serbia, it is likely that he will play against Macedonia on Friday 11 October in the next round of World Cup qualifiers.
