Arter finds his range

I have been one of those who have said AFCB's central midfield players should be getting on the score sheet more often. How delighted was I then that Harry Arter suddenly found his range against Doncaster. It is intriguing that Harry was also playing in a fairly defensive midfield role for large parts of the game, but as Bournemouth started to get on top he did come forward more often. Running up late to the edge of the box is something that paid off really well on the day and I would expect him to be doing the same in the remaining games now.

Arter sharpens his shooting before the Doncaster game.
What I was most pleased about was the accuracy of the shooting from Harry and heading from Yann Kermorgant. So many times we have seen AFCB players get into positions to score but have not found the finish. The clinical finishing finally arrived and I am sure most of it is just having that bit of confidence. Harry's first goal was an absolute rocket which gave the keeper no chance and it was probably the best goal of the game. I don't think Johstone in Doncaster's goal had any chance of getting near it.

Eddie Howe will surely also be delighted that AFCB's players have managed to score so many goals at home in one game. Up until now it has been the away performances that have really been the best displays by the team and it is good for the home supporters to see how the team can play when they get into their stride.

For Harry we will hope for more of the same in the next few weeks. UTCIAD!
