Holloway's Lions may not be easy to tame

Some football fans may be unaware how well Millwall have been playing of late. They have been unbeaten since 25 March when they played Birmingham and in that time they have beaten Forest, Wigan and Middlesbrough to make their dramatic escape from the bottom three. But even those victories and draws against Blackburn, Watford, Doncaster and QPR have not given them immunity from the possibility of final day relegation if results don't go their way and they are defeated by the Cherries. Even a draw could spell danger for them  with a goal difference of -29, so there is no room for error for Millwall as they will need a positive result against AFCB.
Millwall players warm up at Dean Court.

Ian Holloway has left it late in the day to get Millwall firing but they look a much more impressive side than now than the won that lost 5-2 at dean Court earlier in the season. Their big forward Stefan Maierhofer has been linking well with Martyn Woolford and the goals have started to come. Clean sheets against Wigan and Doncaster also signal that they are making it hard for teams to beat them. Ex-Cherry Scott Malone scored a last minute equaliser against QPR just six days ago that will have given them a feeling of invincibility and that could already be the point that keeps them up. The penalty against Millwall last weekend was harsh to say the least and they will be looking for better luck with a noisy home crowd behind them.

it is easy to see where they have struggled. the goals for column is not the biggest and their leading league scorer is Steve Morison who has just 8 goals. When you see that Millwall have had three wins in their last 10 games and yet only 10 wins all season it is evident that their form has improved. their problem could be that those three latest wins were away from home and a point just might not be enough at the New Den. Put yourself in Ian Holloway's seat for a moment. Do you go all out for the win or do you sit tight and park the bus to see how results are going at half time? I don't think he has any choice but to go all out for a win. It is his style to go down fighting and it may just be that an attacking Millwall is their best way to play against a Cherries side that scored two away at Ipswich in our away game.
The pressure will be on Millwall's players.
While the cameras will be on watch at Blackpool v Charlton, Bolton v Birmingham and Leicester v Doncaster they will also be pointed at Millwall to see how they are doing on the last game of the season.
