Boruc keeps Cherries on course

There was a very big moment in the second half of the Brighton match when Brighton could have taken the game away from the Cherries. It was when Lewis Dunk looked to keep his fine scoring record going by heading the ball down towards goal and Artur stretched out fully to claw the ball away. Artur is now becoming something of a must have on AFCB's Christmas list as he continues to make the art of goalkeeping look supremely easy.
Artur continues to impress.
Having seen the save a few times now, there is no doubt that it was top draw. The long arm extension of Artur Boruc is an added advantage for him and he covers most of the goal when he launches himself. Following the penalty save in his previous game at Birmingham you to wonder how important Artur is for the continued progress of a club like AFCB? I think his addition is priceless as AFCB usually find a way of scoring in games, but their big problem last season was in keeping down the number of goals against. Artur is already cutting down those number of opposition goals and some times there are just players that are worth that bit more for their abilities to earn your team more points.

Come January there will be huge interest from AFCB in the possibility of making the deal more permanent. If Southampton have no need for Boruc he would be an excellent acquisition for the Cherries. I think just his presence in the goal is enough to intimidate opposition strikers and the clever negotiators at AFCB will have to do some good work before January to see if they can entice Artur Boruc to make Dean Court his permanent home.
