Rantie is bang in form

It won't have escaped many AFCB fan to have seen TK's stunning goal for Bafana Bafana against Sudan yesterday. Tokelo simply glided across the ground and kept his balance to swerve past opposition players as if they weren't well before releasing a precisely measured shot into the top left corner. This week has been nothing short of spectacular to see Bournemouth players on the international scene and it is all power to Eddie Howe and his coaching team's skill at getting his players on the big stage and then being able to marvel at their ability to impress.
Tokelo just might have hit form at the right time.
It's TK though that has surprised me perhaps more than any of the other AFCB players on international duty. The Bafana Bafana team had a difficult job as it was after the shocking death of Senzo Meyiwa last month and for the team to qualify for the African Cup of Nations is a fitting tribute for their former keeper. TK is always very honest and wears his heart on his sleeve and he seemed to find another gear for his stunning goal. It is was something of the talent that Eddie Howe has seen in TK and is willing for him to bring to the pitch at Dean Court on a regular basis. Being a key man for the South African team brings out the best in TK and he works well with Bongani Ndulula. Now TK has to try and bring his form home to the south coast.

I can't remember a week when so many AFCB players have had the international spotlight on them and even though Callum Wilson did not play his turn will surely come. The fact that TK, Baily and Callum have shown that they have enjoyed the experience and have gained from it is all good news for AFCB. Ryan Fraser is also set to play for Scotland U21s against Switzerland on Tuesday, while Callum and Baily will again be available to play this week for their respective England teams. It is strange for fans of the Cherries to be looking out for our players in internationals but I think we can all expect to see a lot more of it in the future.
