Five different goalscorers for the Cherries

Catch your breadth! Yes, you did see AFCB score five goals with five different scorers at home against Cardiff City. Does it get better than that? Well perhaps the visit of Liverpool FC could top it. One thing is for sure though, AFCB have found their stride in the final third and they are starting to cut teams open on a regular basis as they feel more comfortable in the Championship.

There has been a lot of pressure on Callum Wilson to continue his goalscoring form, but that pressure is being reduced while the midfield players in the squad start to wade in with a few goals of their own. Pugh Arter and Ritchie added to strikes from Wilson and Kermorgant against Cardiff and you can't get a much better return than that from the midfield in a game. Last season it was a real problem to see our central midfielders in particular scoring, but the creative ability of the team now is simply on another level. 

It is asking a lot for the team to sustain such touch and precision in the final third week in and week out. At times the passing becomes almost second nature for the players and the odd pass too many has seen a few chances going missing, but I don't feel we should frown at that too much. Shooting on site is not always the best option and getting the balance right is what will bring rewards, and I don't think that the Cherries are doing to badly in terms of getting points at the moment.

Brett Pitman may get the chance to get scoring again against Liverpool.

Willo and Kris Temple on BBC Radio Solent were praying that Callum Wilson would get his goal which of course he did against Cardiff, but I would have been even happier if Brett Pitman had registered a goal. Not everyone is going to score every game and Brett will hopefully know that he is still being backed by Eddie Howe having started him again ahead of Yann Kermorgant. It maybe that this way we are also getting the best out of Yann when he comes on as a sub and while the winning run goes on Eddie Howe does not want to swap things around.
