It would be good to see Rantie back on the bench

AFCB need a bit of a pick up in my opinion even if they are tussling for top position in the Championship. One person who I think can do exactly that is Tokelo Rantie. Not seeing him on the bench is like going to the market stall to buy some strawberries only to find they have all been sold and there will be no treat this afternoon.

Rantie stretches out at Millwall.
Rantie is one of those players that puts a smile on faces. His keenness to do well is something that rubs off on others and I am one fan who still believes he may just be about to have a big part to play in the club's final fortunes this season. It was a bit of a shame to hear that he had an injury again last Saturday and would not be taking any part in proceedings. This time he had slept badly and had a shoulder injury in the arm that he had not dislocated against Ipswich. Perhaps he had managed to do this while trying to protect the shoulder that he has been nursing back to health and put too much strain on his other shoulder. Whatever the case, the prolonged wait to see Rantie join in the push for league points is something that I am eagerly awaiting now. He has had an injection in his shoulder this week so may be that will do the trick.

The South African played his part in the Africa Cup of Nations but has not played a game for AFCB since and I had hoped that he would be firing on all cylinders when he returned to the Cherries. The long trip back via South Africa to the UK will not have been great for the striker, but now that he is back in the country I hope that Eddie Howe considers using him fairly soon now as I just know that the fans will go crazy if Rantie starts scoring for the team and that could just give the team the lift it needs right now. Perhaps he will make the bench at Brentford.
Rantie could be back in action very soon,
