A new and exciting dynamic edge is added to the Cherries

The signing of Joshua King opens up a lot of debate on how exactly AFCB will play next season. I'd like to see him used as an out and out striker. While Howe has said that they style won't change, with some different personnel we could see a more dynamic Bournemouth side that is even more electric in front of goal. Sharpening up a side that already scored 98 Championship goals last season would seem a difficult challenge. But I imagine that some astute Premier League managers are already marking AFCB as a game where they'll have to find some way of holding off this goal threat.

AFCB have already been joined by some exciting new recruits for the next campaign.

The news is that this goal threat is building too. Christian Atsu adds yet more pace to the wings that should make Bournemouth have one of the fastest attacks on the break. It will give the team the opportunity to play in that way against some of the teams when keeping possession from them may prove harder than what we have seen in the Championship. 

Eddie will of course want to be getting his new players on the training pitch and working with them to get them fully integrated to the carefully crafted moves that have made AFCB such a special side to watch. It is exciting times not only because AFCB are in the Premier League but also as Eddie Howe now has the opportunity to grow his talents with players that can add something extra to the team we know so well. They say that attack is the best form of defence and it looks like that is the way Eddie Howe is going to approach this.

There is news today reported by the Daily Mirror that Aston Villa would be interested in Callum Wilson if Christian Benteke is sold. That would perhaps upset Eddie Howe's plans so we'll see how that develops if at all. It could of course mean that Josh King's signing was as a replacement for Callum Wilson. Apparently the Mirror is claiming that when Aston Villa enquired about the Bournemouth striker in January they were quoted £7 million - I think that might be rising now.
