A win would put Cherries back on course

The target of getting a point or more a game is not such a simple affair when you are facing top quality opposition every week. AFCB have slipped up and are already finding themselves behind the run rate if you will. But a win at the weekend and matters will look much better again and to get a win against another side in the bottom quarter of the league is particularly important even at this early stage.

Sunderland will  be looking to take advantage of the Cherries' concerns over form, but the AFCB players have to start believing that they can put such sides away. They will have had a good look at themselves in the past week and being more organised at the back will have been a priority. Eddie Howe needs the fans to help him as well and we can play our part in getting behind the team and willing them to get that all important first home win.

AFCB look for that finishing touch to win games.

It is disappointing that Watford and Norwich have managed home wins before the Cherries. Yet, it also shows that if the other new arrivals in the Premier League can manage it then it should be there for AFCB to take as well. The team has only let in two goals at home and has been less open at the back at the Vitality stadium. Now AFCB need to bring some better finishing to the table and that is why I expect Glenn Murray to play some part in the game on Saturday as AFCB go looking for those important three points.
