Cherries' midfield has to keep the ball better

The Leicester game was not one of the best performances from the Cherries according to Eddie Howe, and in some ways that is probably more to do with the occasions when the team looked comfortable on the ball in midfield only to suddenly give it away. Leicester are one of those team that do work harder than many and they don't let players settle. In that respect the game against them on Saturday was more like a high-tempo Championship game in my opinion, and even at the end the no surrender message that Leicester were giving out was enough to cause a stumble in midfield and the single chance they needed to get their goal.

Keeping the ball better will be one factor that could help
the Cherries get the better of Norwich in a few days time.

That will have annoyed Eunan O'Kane who was the man caught out at first. He will know that he has to be aware of that in future and will try not to get caught again. We saw it several times though that Leicester would close around a player and cut off his pass routes and while AFCB got away with it a few times it was an accident waiting to happen at times. 

Eunan could be in action with the Republic of Ireland on Monday.

In the first half with AFCB pushing for goals and Surman making more forward passes the team looked much more focused but protecting a lead is always tricky, and getting the balance between seeking the second goal and keeping what you've got is something that the Cherries are going to have to get better at.
