Cherries need to regain their focus

Disappointing though the Norwich game was it is now the Cherries that have to bounce back from a big defeat. Norwich were well beaten by Southampton before the international break but reacted well against the Cherries to get their first home win. Now the Cherries must do the same against Sunderland.

The focus that steered the Cherries to their only win against West Ham has not been as good since then. Individual mistakes and a lack of shape at times has cost the team dearly. While it is always great to win games there needs to be a bit of determination to get the first clean sheet of the season. The Cherries can still play expansive football, but it has to be a little more guarded when the strengths of opposing teams on the break is strong and when they have good strength from free kicks and corners.
Back at Dean Court the Cherries will seek their first home win this weekend.
The side has been changed quite a bit with three players coming into the side of late. While nothing could have been done about Charlie Daniels and Max Gradel it is going to be disruptive if another three or so changes are made for the Sunderland game. Eddie Howe will have to make his point some how though to ensure that the team is more on it against Sunderland. It's all through the team where improvement needs to be made as all players need to defend from the front.

Eddie will want to see AFCB more switched on against Sunderland.

Meanwhile, SkySports is reporting that the Cherries have signed Alessandro Cannataro on a one year deal.
