The Cherries are still learning the demands of the league

It was no surprise that AFCB have really had to work hard to get points in the Premier League. Most of the teams at this level they simply have not played before unless in cup competitions and the intensity of the Premier League is fierce as the stage is so big for players and clubs and everyone is under huge pressure to do well with every detail being analysed so much by the world's media.

There's still time for some smiles in the Premier League.

The physical side of the league is very evident from the speed point of view and the types of challenges that we have seen. The action is much quicker for the players when the passing from the top players is in full swing and AFCB have been among the teams that have been doing well in stringing good sequences of possession together.

All the teams in the Premier League have been finding it difficult to win at home in the early part of this season which is something of a surprise. The Cherries probably could have had two home wins but have only registered a point at the Vitality stadium so far. Yet, the team has seen that home games are going to be tight and the crowd noise has been more heard throughout the match which has made for some great atmospheres. As long as the players enjoy that and it helps them perform better it should bode well for AFCB. Aston Villa and Leicester certainly did not have an easy ride and Ranieri's assessment of AFCB as being a 'dangerous game' for his team shows that many teams won't like coming down to the south coast.

The Cherries do like the away games from what we have seen. Strong performances against Liverpool and West Ham have given encouragement and the task will be to keep levels at that height all the time as a dip in form would be punished with the kinds of team that the Cherries are now up against. It is a different kind of pressure from the Championship. There are fewer games and less time to recover from errors. You have to be on it all the time and Eddie is know doubt getting that across to his players.

I'm hoping that the team is ready to take on Norwich today and can bring back their second away points of the season. When it comes to shirts, Pink is the new red and black today. You should also see some of my words in the programme today if you are at the match. UTCIAD!
