The Cherries need more flying starts to games

The best sides always seem to recover even when they do have a slight lapse in concentration. It's a great trait to have, but I wonder what the key is to keeping players switched on for 90 minutes and more? AFCB don't seem to have mastered it yet unless the goals that they are conceding are all down to the skill of the opposition.
Steve Cook is one of those who had his work cut out last match,
but he'll come back stronger for the experience.
Eddie Howe pointed out that what had happened to the team with Artur Boruc getting injured in the warm up and letting in two early, and let's be honest, bad goals is what was really disappointing about last Saturday's game. You want to make a decent start in games and not put yourselves under pressure but the Cherries had a mountain to climb after just 11 minutes and it was far too easy for City. At home they must aim for quick starts and to hurt teams early if they are to control more games.

There have been some strange decisions, but the players have to try and get the ball in the opposition's box and keep it there. Then we won't mind some strange decisions going in favour of our players. The offside rule is beginning to add concern for the players, as the officials have not been exactly good at cancelling out goals that shouldn't have stood against the Cherries. You can't stop playing at this level and hope for the flag to go up or expect it. It's just happened too often and the defenders will do better resulting on their own ability to clear the danger than expecting assistant referees to step in and back up their calls for an offside.

The Cherries' bad luck has not just been because of a lack of concentration though. Starting off games well is what they need to stay in with a chance of winning. Scoring first has become more difficult of lat,e and I really hope that the team can start getting leads and being able to dominate games from that position of strength.
