The Cherries' thirst for a win is high

The Cherries know that they have a brilliant opportunity to put some distance between them and the bottom three with this next game. While that brings it's own pressure, it is the kind of game where both teams will be nervous and on edge, and it is likely to be the team that settles best that gets ahead. Being at home will be a good calming factor as AFCB will be aware that they have already payed a similar game against Sunderland and come out on top.

It has been six games since that last win and the taste of victory does fade very quickly in the Premier League when things are not going for you. Eddie Howe needs his players to get that winning feeling because the games against Swansea and Everton are likely to be even harder to get points from.

I know that the fans really want to see a big performance now from the team after the display against Southampton. The real Cherries have been hidden away for a few games now and if they can find the form that sees them paying at a good pace with positive possession then they should have enough quality to win these types of matches.

There has to be real intent and precision in AFCB's play now. If they are to get points they have to go out on the pitch and play with the knowledge that they are good enough, and if they had any doubts they should watch back the second half against Southampton. While early kick offs can effect things a little, it is important that us fans don't let the players down either. They need us there from the start and in full voice again. 

Simon Francis will be wanting to hear the fans play their part at this crucial stage.

Three points would then put more pressure on Norwich, Aston Villa and Sunderland who play later. It would be great if we could sit back and then look forward to the Swansea game knowing our team has picked up three points. The players and the fans really want this result so let's help the team make it a reality. UTCIAD!
