It's a happy dressing room at AFCB

The pictures taken of the AFCB team in the away dressing room at Stamford Bridge reminded me of the evening when the Cherries beat Bolton to claim their place in the Premier League. Every one was in the photo and they all could not contain their delight. It is just so pleasing to see the players all enjoy the moment and to be so thrilled with what they had achieved. If you are going to have a party why not have it at Stamford Bridge?

Of course the players will have to come down to earth a bit after that and yet I'd imagine Eddie may give them a day off this coming week to get them over all the excitement. Tommy Elphick also seemed to be enjoying himself in the SkySports' box at the ground and the sheer pleasure of seeing Glenn Murray get the late was written all over his face. There is something special about this group of players that Eddie Howe has always been keen to express to the public. Just like the fans they want to celebrate and pinch themselves at what they are now able to do and I see no need to abandon any of the methods or style of play that has taken them this far along the course they have plotted. As was mentioned on Match of The Day, this is not a team looking like they are in the bottom three. They look like a good mid-table team and that is in stark contrast to some of the teams around them in the table at the moment.
The players are just as excited as the fans when visiting stadiums like Stamford Bridge.
It may seem hard to ask the players to go out and take their best game to the likes of Chelsea and Man Utd, but if this is the strong period in AFCB's season they need to ride the momentum for as long as possible and collect the points now. There are good signs that if they can stay unbeaten during December, which is their traditionally good month, then they could make life in the Premier League a lot easier come late January and February when some of the players with injury might start coming back. Seeing a side that is pulling itself away from the danger zone is going to be exciting for the players on the sideline to be involved in and to win that battle with a smile on their faces, playing the way that Eddie Howe knows best is going to cement the identity of the team for a long time to come.

AFCB have simply found another gear and the foot can go hard down now on the accelerator. Missing a game seems like a punishment at the moment. They have become the must watch team every Saturday and I think they're loving it - just like you and me.
