Harry needs goals and assists

Eddie Howe made it clear that Harry Arter needs to keep up his performances with goals and assists if he is to keep his place in the side. That followed the Irish-man's first Premier League goal when he got the Cherries off to a good start against West Ham. The pressure on players to keep their place in the starting line up has suddenly become a lot more intense, and every part of their individual game is being looked at now as AFCB search ways to keep the points coming.
Harry hits top form.
There is a stat going around that AFCB have scored the most goals from outside the box this season in the Premier League. Harry Arter added to that total with a goal after just 17 minutes of the match against the Hammers when he caught Adrian by surprise and his shot nestle in the bottom right hand corner of the net. AFCB fans have missed seeing Harry Arter do things like that and it probably has taken him a little while to find his scoring boots at this level, but the player that took the Championship by storm last year is starting to make his presence felt again.

It would seem strange not to see Harry Arter start for AFCB but he needs to be at the top of his game if he is to stay in the side. Dan Gosling has improved his general play and with Andrew Surman also getting lots of game time it may come to the fact that Eddie Howe has to make a three into a two at some point. It may come down to who Eddie feels is too important to leave out and while goals will help that decision it is the overall influence on how the team plays that is going to be key, so linking up with Benik Afobe and Lewis Grabban will be closely monitored to see how AFCB look best going forward.

Harry will be delighted to have broken his duck and though it has come in a game that saw an AFCB defeat, it is evidence of him starting to get his form on a steep upward curve.
