Keeping noses ahead took mental strength from the Cherries

Eddie Howe always comments on how important it is to get the first goal. The Cherries did that well enough against Swansea, but they had to go and regain the lead two more times before they could take the points, and that demonstrates what a scrap it is for points at this stage of the season.

Mentally I do believe that the Cherries have become a stronger side. While key members of the team can be out it does not seem to worry the side as much as it did when they faced teams early on this season. Eddie Howe has strengthened in just about every position and there appears to be not only a good camaraderie among the team, but a good deal of trust about what each of them is capable of doing as well.
Josh King was on target again for the second match in a row.
Swansea City are a decent and established Premier League team. They have had a difficult season but the Swans are a side that would have probably swept the Cherries aside quite comfortably only 12 months ago. That as not the case though at Dean Court this weekend when it was the Cherries that were forcing the issue by going ahead in the game and going again with Josh King's goal and Steve Cook's goal to keep ahead of Alan Curtis' men.

The goal record is looking very good now. In the last two home games that is five goals and with Josh King in fine form there are signs that the side is starting to play better at home than it has for some time. The next three home matches are games that AFCB fans might have only dreamed about once in a decade as likely to happen - perhaps in a favourable FA Cup draw - but it is just three more fixtures in what is an incredible season for our fans. UTCIAD!
