AFCB have not shown their full goal power yet

Scoring two gaols away from home was some reward for the teams work in trying to improve their goal tally that has only been more less woeful than that of Stoke City. The variety of strikers and attacking players that can score for the side is probably better than it has ever been at Dean Court, but the defences that they are trying to plunder are surely better organised.

What I did like about the two goals at Watford was they they were both from open play and both very different goals. The combination of Adam Smith getting forward and Callum Wilson finishing off his ball in is something that has already given Callum two goals this season and it is a route that will surely be more profitable as the season develops. There has not been such good supply from the left and I'm not sure why as Daniels makes as many runs, but the chances don't seem to fall at strikers feet from that side at the moment.
Surman, Stanislas and Gradel will be hoping to boost AFCB's goalscoring.
Josh King's goal was made pretty much all by himself. He is getting stronger and better at riding challenges. It is something that Callum Wilson perhaps over does at times by fouling his opponent, but when King uses a shoulder barge or holds off an opponent he tends to keep going and he is always looking to get a shot away. Both Callum and Josh have two goals now so they are vying for the top goalscorer spot which is great for the team, but I'd still be more pleased if Benik Afobe and Lys Mousset were sitting in the bench and given 20-30 minutes in some games to give them a try - perhaps that will come at some stage.

Still with Gradel, Pugh, Ibe, Stanislas, Fraser and Gosling also players that should be getting on the score sheet a few times this season there has been a low return so far. AFCB have also found it hard to get defenders on the score sheet with only Adam Smith netting in the Premier League and Marc Wilson in the English Football League Cup.

Against Watford it was perhaps significant that AFCB only had two shots on target even f they scored on both occasions. Two shots for a keeper to save though in 90 minutes is I'd argue not going to win you that may games.
