Super sub King is too hot to stop

Josh King is growing into the striker that AFCB fans can't get enough of at the moment. Excellent progress last season has backed up by a strong first seven games this season and a more assured striker. Now he is using his pace and close dribbling skills to unlock defences on a more regular basis.
Josh King - too good for the subs bench?
While Josh will be away with Norway in the World Cup qualifiers, he is a player that Eddie Howe will probably be most concerned about when he returns to Dean Court. Having had a tight hamstring that caused him to miss the Everton game, Eddie may be hoping that Josh does not have to play a full 90 minutes on international duty. Having a fully-fit Josh King in the side is a big asset for the Cherries and we know Josh is trying to improve his availability for the Cherries to become a top striker.

Eddie may have to gently give him minutes when he can, after his return as he can play Stanislas and Wilshire up with Callum Wilson and there is a shade more cover for Josh now. The difficulty is that Josh has become one if not the sharpest striker in the squad and keeping him on the pitch is something AFCB would like to see this season. Managing Josh is worth it though, because when he does burst into games he is virtually unstoppable as Watford found out.

With Josh King knocking in the goals it also gets the best out of Callum Wilson. Callum needs someone to rival his goal count and to push him. It's likely that Callum will play more games than Josh this season, but don't be surprised if Josh would quite like to keep hold of the top scorer for AFCB which he managed in 2015/16.
