Who will be the saviour of AFCB's season?

There is no doubting that AFCB are going to need a player or two to pull them back up the league but who are the candidates that are most likely to hit top form with just 14 games to go. Is there a defender, midfielder or striker that fans feel confident will deliver?

Josh King just might be AFCB's saviour.

I must say, at this point I would find it hard to pick out an individual who is going to be a match winner on a consistent basis. What I do see is that Eddie Howe will rely on the team ethic to get the side through games, and while that may mean fans may have to bite their nails, as the team selection becomes ever more important, I suspect one or two names will feature higher than other.

Consistent performers are what is needed. In the forward line, it has to be Josh King that is now likely to play in as many games as he can. The striker is the most attentive to the demands of what is required, and while I expect Benik Afobe to also be used, the aggression and motivational play of King has to be a priority.

The midfield will surely see regular appearances from Harry Arter, who will be equally as important as King for his drive and dogged desire to carry the team through games. But if I had to pick an unlikely hero, I'd say Steve Cook. Steve has been ever present in the side this season with 24 appearances in the Premier League. He's made goal line clearances and blocks, while he is not hesitant in having a shot when he is in a good position.

You may have your favourite player who you think is just as likely to be the hero. To be honest, I wouldn't mind who it is, but AFCB certainly need some one to get the points circulating again.
