Is there anything more Josh King can add to his game?

The form of Josh King in his last 11 matches has been sensational. He's scored 10 goals in this time and before this had netted three in 20 before that. There is nothing like scoring regularly for a striker and he must feel like he's going to score every time he goes out and plays at the moment.
Josh King is still putting the goals in.
I read a stat that only  Romelo Lukaku and Harry Kane had scored more goals than King in 2017. Perhaps AFCB's goal machine is all well and good and not Callum Wilson, but Josh King? The low stat that will have disappointed Eddie Howe in the match against Chelsea though was that, while AFCB pulled possession back to 51 per cent to 49 in their favour by the end of the game, they only managed one shot on target - the goal of Josh King.

AFCB did manage to get up the Chelsea end much more in the second half and they did do their best to stretch the Chelsea defence. Ryan Fraser and Josh King were especially mobile and might have wondered why they did not get to test Courtois more often. But if there is a part of Josh's game that could be improved it is probably the number of goals he gets from headers. Of his 13 goals this season I'm scratching my head to remember if any one of them came from a header. Put it this way, Josh is not renowned for his headed goals and it is something that would surely add something to Bournemouth's play. His battling style and eagerness to win the ball would make him a strong player to contest headers in the box so perhaps he can try and work on this over the summer.

I do start to get nervous about how many column inches Josh King is getting these days. I'm as guilty as anyone who has been extolling his qualities and if I can see them, I'm sure there are other coaches in the Premier League who are starting to get interested in a player that is getting closer to that magic target of 20 goals in a season, knowing that he is not attached to a top four club.
