Well the fans finally got their wish for Lewis Cook answered and he didn't disappoint. I always wonder if there is a bit of Eddie Howe who doesn't like to be told what to do, which is fair when he is the boss. Still, the crowd will say we wanted you to play Lewis Cook and by finally relenting the team looked a whole lot better.
He must have felt this himself and for him to play well knowing that the crowd had pleaded for him to play and expected him to deliver, it was quite a remarkable performance. He ghosted past players with ease and played the ball early and quickly which had been lacking in Bournemouth's central midfield. Whether he can do it against the best we will soon see as Tottenham is a little bit different to playing Leicester with King and Ndidi in the centre of Leicester's midfield.
The good aspect of Lewis being in the team is that he is always so available to pass to and can take the ball with players around him. He may still have to see if he can add the chasing and energy to his game that Arter has when he is on song, but comparisons with Jack Wilshere from some quarters are very high praise indeed. While it has taken a long time for Lewis to make the team it might take a lot longer to get him to take a sub's seat after what he delivered against Leicester.
