The wide positions for Bournemouth were a bit of a problem against Leicester as the game went on in my opinion. Josh King was doing well with Callum Wilson, but it wasn't Junior Stanislas' day at all. He had a number of chances in the first half and skied most of them when he is usually cool-headed enough to make the most of one of the opportunities that come his way.
I do wonder if the misses got to Junior as the game went on. He didn't get the ball as much in the second half and was a bit reclusive because the team were having to defend so much. I don't think defending is necessarily the best part of Junior's game and while Callum was afforded a rest for running the line up front all game, there was no rest for Stanislas who played the full 97 minutes. But I'm not sure playing the full match did much good for Junior's confidence. It was clear he was having a hard time of things.

Had his early effort that slipped over the corner of crossbar and post gone in, then I am sure Junior would have gone on to have a stronger game. The fact that he stood motionless for a few second after that miss with his hands covering his mouth indicated how close he had been to giving AFCB the lead, but he almost seemed shocked that it was that close. Kasper Schmeichel was well-beaten but so was the goal.
