Here's hoping Ibe can play a part in Anfield match

It was a surprise not to see Jordan Ibe take to the field against Crystal Palace. He had an illness that I'm hoping has disappeared this week, as to go back to Anfield would be a great experience for him playing in front of a packed Afield crowd. The Anfield crowd could see it as a trial, but to AFCB fans, Ibe has proved that he can be a Premier League star already.
Jordan Ibe will be keen to play a part in a trip to his old club.
The value in having a fully-fit Jordan Ibe is of more importance now than it was back in August. Ibe has come on a bundle and his quick feet are starting to win fans over. He still needs to up his goal count, but he is now shooting far more often and is capable of beating his man on a more regular basis. I'd like Liverpool fans to be able to see him close up and for him to come away from the ground thinking, now why did we let him go, he just needed a bit more time.

Whether Ibe is picked in this game or not. I do think that he is a talent that will come on even further, and under Howe's guidance he should grow into a player that wants to be a winner. Whether there is less pressure for Ibe playing in front of a 10,000 crowd every week compared to 50,000 I don't know, but he has to become a big player for Bournemouth and I believe he is on the right course now.

What I think he brings to the team is quick thinking and a touch of the unexpected. When he scored against WBA at home, he just took it upon himself to run at goal and strike a ball that moved viciously away from the keeper. But no one in the ground expected that he'd do that at the time except for Jordan Ibe, and it's that confident player that Eddie Howe wants to see more of. Wouldn't it help Ibe to come full circle if he can do that at Anfield?
