It took Lewis Cook a few matches to force his way back into the team. Now he is playing next to Jefferson Lerma it is hard to see how he was left out in some of the earlier matches. They dovetail extremely well and seem to be a natural partnership in the centre of the park and prospects for this being a huge season for Lewis are building.
What Lewis does so well is see the attacking players' runs. He is always quick to look up and is looking to see where to pass, before he has even received the ball. It's the quickness and intelligent thinking in his play that unlocks teams and Bournemouth have a crop of players that are thinking on their feet, which helps the decision-making for Cook in the middle of the park.
With Fraser, Stanislas and Brooks proving to be extremely alert and switched on with their runs, Lewis can have his choice of who to pick out at any one moment and it is creating goals. I don't believe we have seen Bournemouth be anymore creative than we are seeing now in games and in time it should only get better as these young players get to know more about each others game.

It's the forward passing of Lewis Cook that takes your breath away. He doesn't know how to be satisfied with just retaining possession. He likes to hurt teams and we saw that again against Manchester United for Bournemouth's goal, when the ball from the corner ended up back with him and he directed it straight forward to Junior Stanislas' run, before Stanislas crossed for Wilson to score.
