Howe is still the best man for the job a AFCB

Jim White on TalkSport put out a comment that perhaps Eddie Howe is no longer untouchable at AFCB, after only recording five wins since December in all competitions. It has been relegation form and quite a sharp contrast with the star of the season, but I am sure Eddie Howe is still the right man for the job at AFCB,
Eddie Howe has come under some fire in recent days,
but he's still the right man for AFCB going forward.
I say that not because the results have been acceptable. Far from it, AFCB have been in relegation form with 18 points from their last 23 games. Less than a point a game lands you in trouble and if the form continues this downward spiral it will cause some to think that a change could be required. But Eddie is rebuilding the team and has had a bad spell of injuries. This season has shown what AFCB could do when everyone is fit and on their game, but when the team struggles, they really do dip in form.

I've heard people say AFCB need a defensive coach, and if their is a frailty in Howe's record it is the goals against which have passed 60 goals in all four season that AFCB have been in the Premier League. But AFCB's problems are more than just conceding sloppy goals. They don't look like a team at the moment and they need to do the basics better to stay in games.

Eddie Howe will go over and over the problems and look to find answers. He probably has more time than most managers would be given, but he has to keep AFCB in the Premier League and show some improvement when the club is spending record levels on transfers and wages. He's not so far away from doing extremely well and a few games ago AFCB were still up with Wolves and Watford. The season has been long though and it has caught up with AFCB's players. The players also have to take some of the responsibility for the slump in form.

But if we want to see a club that becomes more successful in the Premier League, I don't believe that now is the right time to make a managerial change with several young players trying to find their way into the starting eleven. AFCB simply need to group together and get a win on the board.
