Who needs to star against Palace?

Well, here we are the final match of the season. Do you remember all the players being desperate to play in the first game of the season? Now we are looking at the last match and the team selection is going to look quite a bit different from the AFCB side that took on Cardiff last August.
Selhurst park is calling.

According to the Daily Star Asmir Begovic is already travelling to a summer beach. Eddie Howe maintains there has been no fall out, but Asmir is having this last week off. And how could Howe do anything but play Mark Travers again in this last fixture, after collected the man of the match award against Spurs? So Travers is most likely to get his second Bournemouth cap and the back four is likely to stay the same with Steve Cook and Jack Simpson in the centre and Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Smith picking whichever wing they fancy.

Dan Gosling has also been unable to be ready for this last match with his calf problem. So, Eddie is likely to keep Aké in the centre alongside Lerma, as they did okay when under pressure last week. Fraser and King played wide against Spurs, and I expect that to continue this weekend. That just leaves the forwards and it was clever to use Jordan Ibe behind Wilson last week. The selection of Ibe was enough to raise eyebrows. Yet, Ibe did well, and hearing that David Brooks is not going to be available again, it should mean that Ibe gets another start in a position which I think suits him best. Solanke has also been ruled out of being available.

It is not the strongest of AFCB teams, but they know how to dig out a result, and they will need to have that kind of mentality against a Palace team who won't want to relinquish 12th place in the table. The £4m game is on!
