The Transfer window will soon slam shut and Bournemouth fans might be fearful of what the next few days hold in terms of departures. If the club can hold on to David Brooks and/or Josh King I expect most fans would be reasonably pleased, but it looks like Josh King''s wages make him more likely to depart as long as a reasonable bid is offered for him.
For the future, it is clear that the likes of David Brooks and Lloyd Kelly are more sensible for Bournemouth to try and hold onto. It is the youthful players that the Cherries should be putting premium prices on, and if they can avoid selling wether of these two they will have done well. I don't subscribe to sell and then have a player on loan for the season, as it doesn't help the club build for the future if we know players are not going to be part of it going forward.
With the exception of Aaron Ramsdale, all of the sales Bournemouth have made so far can be bracketed in the older players and high-wage earners' area. So for the most part, I don't see any problem with the players that have moved on. But losing David Brooks would be a blow and even losing Josh King is going to make things more difficult if Bournemouth don't bring in another striker before the window closes.
