Who will be the Cherries top scoring midfielder?

The book is really wide open this season to see who will be the highest goal scoring midfielder for the Cherries. I expect Marc Pugh, Harry Arter and Matt Ritchie to be the favourites, but it will very much depend on who gets the game time and the opportunities to push forward and take their chances in front of goal.

We have some great new additions to the squad this season and we could find that Mohamed Coulibaly or Andrew Surman get a long run in the team and might get among the goals. There is also young Ryan Fraser who has done just about everything that could be expected from him so far, but I am sure he would like to start putting the ball in the back of the net.

Eunan O'Kane has the technical ability and the calmness to be a leading scorer and if he can get a run in the team he should be up there. He has already been on the score sheet in the Capital One Cup.

Can Eunan up his goal count this season?

Another candidate is Josh McQuoid although Eddie Howe may well use him more as a striker than in the middle of the park. Shaun MacDonald and Richard Hughes may be the outsiders but every goal will count and if they can score a few like they did last season it can only be a good thing. I am still trying to work out how Shaun MacDonald scored that absolute screamer from that corner against Portsmouth, in the Johnston's Paint match, around this time last year.
