AFCB must find more quality

However much AFCB fans like the current squad it is clear that the side will need several new faces next season if it is to progress. While the staff at AFCB will want to take the current crop of professionals as far as they can, there may well be a few farewells to say and I'd really like to see Baily Cargill and perhaps some others push for a place in the squad.

There is no way that AFCB will have the financial clout of teams in the top six to eight places but they will be able to spend some money over the summer and it is probably the hardest window to get ride that Eddie Howe has ever had. Now he can spend, who does he go for? The newspapers will highlight plenty of targets and some might even be true, but it will be very intriguing to see where Howe will strengthen and whether a side like AFCB can become stronger in its second season with just a little tinkering.
AFCB will be a better team next season.
I am not sure that Howe will spend big in the forward line this coming season though. He has to get more out of Wilson, King and Afobe. I don't see why they can't improve and they have given the Cherries a younger look to the team. So these strikers have to come back hitting the target more often in games and it's a challenge that I think Eddie Howe is looking forward to as he will work with all of them to make them better assets for the club. Yet, there is also gossip of bolstering the attack with Jermain Defoe if Sunderland don't stay up.

We all realise that conceding 63 goals is almost on a par with what Aston Villa, Norwich and Newcastle have done and that is something that shouts - we need more quality at the back. Eddie Howe has not done major cropping of the side but he just may have to try and find one or two gems over the summer. Tyrone Mings is a fabulous prospect and is Baily Cargill and the competition at the back has to be stepped up for next season.
