AFCB can't get carried away

Harry Arter was clear to point out in his post match interview with BBC Radio Solent that the Man Utd point was only the start of the points that the team needed to collect in the next few weeks. There was a clear message that they could not get carried away with getting a point at Old Trafford, and there was good reason to believe that with Crystal Palace and Leicester City now going level on points with the Cherries.

Harry wants the Man Utd result to be the start of a good run. 

It has taken a few matches for the Cherries to really give a reaction to their poor points total in 2017 and while nothing is assured yet, AFCB showed that they will fight for each other and will do all they can to get the points they need. The energy and intensity that had been lacking in post-Christmas matches has been re-found, and there is a positivity about the players that know everything is still in their hands and that they want to keep it that way.

The next three games are going to have been highlighted by Eddie Howe as being a golden ticket towards safety if the Cherries can pick up a hat-trick of wins. It is something that they have not managed this season and back-to-back wins have been absent from their results as well, so it is a matter that the players can now try and turn their attention to. To get a home win against West Ham will be the first step and while the Hammers have overtaken the Cherries in the table, their football has not been consistent this season.

AFCB need to find the consistency now to pull themselves away from the bottom regions of the table. Having home games is a big help at this stage, but they have to make the most of them. The job is only done when the points are on the board and it's accumulation time now. UTCIAD!
