Is a win just around the corner for the Cherries?

While the defeats that AFCB have suffered have got them into trouble, I don't see it as a hole they can't climb out of. The losses were only by one or two goals and Eddie usually gets a response from the players, as he did against Man City, when things need a turnaround. There are some good players that Howe may also turn to come the end of September or early October and, in particular, Junior Stanislas who has always made an impact when he has forced his way back into the side.
The Cherries have strength in depth if they need to change things.
It's hard to think past Arsenal at the moment but Eddie Howe has to come up with plans for getting points against Brighton, Everton and Leicester which will take some doing. Yet wins against any of these sides would be hugely encouraging as they are teams that are hard working sides and AFCB need battles now. It's when we don't see any fight in the Cherries play that we need to be worried.

So is a big result coming? Considering AFCB have only netted once so far some fans may be a bit downcast and in denial that AFCB could rattle up a big score against any team. Okay, we haven't seen the midfield and forwards really click yet. But the shot counts have been so low from AFCB that I can't see them staying at such a low level. There are several more gears to this team that have not been tapped into for whatever reason. But it's important that fans stick with the players and help them through this period. The players and the fans will feel all the better for when things do turn if everyone as been together in willing a result.

We saw enough against Man City to know that AFCB are not completely broken. They need a bit of encouragement and something to give them that first step on the ladder. The frustration that has built up with that last minute winner for Man City will have caused anger and annoyance in the dressing room, and if that energy is channelled correctly, it will make ACFB a team that is going to unleash their best. I predict that this could mean a bit of a goal rush and if it happens on Saturday it would be perfect timing.

In other news, Tyrone Mings has signed an extended long-term contract.
