Where will Josh King end up?

The fuel has started to be put well an truly on the fire for the Josh King's transfer battle round two. While West Ham Utd remain front-runners, after a failed bid in the last window, and Newcastle Utd have also been rumoured to have an interest, there is now new enthsiasm from Sam Allardyce at WBA, who sees Josh King as the perfect solution to solving his goal draught in the Baggies' relegation fight.

Josh King is likely to have some decisions to make.

The more interest the better from what I can see. If it can drive up the price for Josh King's transfer then the Cherries are on to a good thing. Josh may not have helped himself in his fitness stakes this season and lack of goals, but he is starting to look more like his old self and could well trigger some Premier League interest.

To be fair it would be disappointing for Josh to see out the rest of the season at AFCB and although he might not have the likes of Man Utd chasing him anymore, Bournemouth need to get the best price they can. This will probably be funds that Jason Tindall could spend as Bournemouth have been pretty frugal in the last window, and they are not too well off for strikers with Sam Surridge, Dominic Solanke and Jaidon Anthony the remaining strikers on the Cherries books.

It is favour to say that Bournemouth could add Junior Stanislas, Arnaut Danjuma and David Brooks as number 10s when required, but Josh King is more often seen as a striker and I'd like to see another one come in if Josh does go.

While Bournemouth have always had links with West Ham, Jason Tndall probably makes that link even stronger, and I can see Tindall being happy to let Josh go to the London Stadium as long as the price is right. So, I'd expect WBA to have to come in with a high offer if they are to come in and snatch Josh away.

AFCB fans should just hope that the negotiations are soon sorted on Josh King, while other Bournemouth players keep their heads down and are not snapped up in this window. What the Cherries don't want is to lose players late in the window with no chance to replace them.
