Happy Christmas!
Well the big fixtures in December have gone and they are out of the way, even if they are not the results Bournemouth fans would have wanted. The goal difference has taken a big hit and despite all the recent defeats, Bournemouth are just one win away from climbing out of the bottom three. Boxing Day gives Eddie Howe that opportunity and it is important that Bournemouth take it.
Happy Christmas to players staff and everybody who supports AFCB! |
The positive Howe should have is that he has two home games coming up. Bournemouth have to look forward to the fact that they are at home and play accordingly with gusto and enthusiasm from the start. These games will be like cup games as the points situation is critical now. It is important Howe gets his players to think positively about inning these next two matches and believing they can be on 22 points after them. If they could do that they would be out of immediate danger, but the players need to believe that they are in good shape and are due results now that they have a chance to play some lower placed teams.
Eddie Howe said, after the Man Cit, they must concentrate on the future now. The future can be good if they start to not only play with energy but take their chances. I think it is the physical side of the game that Bournemouth need to be at 100 per cent for the match on Boxing day. They have been knocked by the defeats, but they have played reasonably okay and mental side they will recover from very quickly if they can get ahead in the next match. Bournemouth were going to have to be lucky to get anything against the top teams and in a way it is now down to the team to show they can get points against teams that have also struggled.

It is important that the fans stick behind the team and give them all the support we can. They need encouragement now not criticism. Have a great Christmas Day!
