This is a fan’s personal view of AFC Bournemouth from the outside looking in. It reports on the daily official activities reported by the club and comments made by individual fans on social media and fanbase websites. Life as an AFCB fan is never dull. As a life-long supporter of the Cherries, it is the friendliness of the staff, fans and my enthusiasm for the club that inspired me to write this blog.

You make some good points. Eddie's time at Burnley is remembered positively by most of us Burnley fans. Wasn't his return to Bournemouth prompted by personal circumstances? I enjoyed his time at Turf Moor. I view him as a success because he steadied or ship and Sean Dyche was able to build on this. I wish him every success - but not this coming weekend!
ReplyDeleteAs a burnley fan i feel he has nothing to prove. Burnley were not in a great place when he came and although dyche took us further eddie layed the foundations for him. I like eddie and i know this season isnt the best he has had but wish him all the best. Top manager, top bloke.
ReplyDeleteWhen Eddie came to us he more than steadied the ship. He had some amazingly good transfer deals, which ultimately allowed Sean to build from the ground up.
ReplyDeleteNot many proper Burnley fans have any sort of negative issues about Eddie and Jason. Family reasons brought about his departure, nothing to do with how he was managing our club. Sadly the Cherries will take a beating tomorrow, but I'm sure Eddie and Jason will keep the Cherries safe for another season of EPL football.
