The Spanish side were only promoted to La Liga in 2016-17, but have had some impressive wins, including a 5-4 win over Barcelona last May and two draws against Real Madrid, which helped them finishing in 15th place.
Their top striker is Emmanuel Boateng of Ghana. He scored a hat-trick when Levante beat Barzelona 5-4. Incredibly Levante were 5-1 up after 56 minutes, as reported by the BBC. Levante also have midfielder Jefferson Lerma on their books which the Sun has reported this week that the Cherries are willing to spend a club record breaking £32m to sign him, although other reports of £17m seem more sensible.
