Bournemouth have to find more steel for away games

The Cherries away record is startlingly bad. I know they have played a lot of the top teams in this run, but the number of goals and lack of clean sheets away from home is as bad as any team in the Premier League at present. There needs to be a change of attitude for away games and a lot more determination to work to get some clean sheets.
Bournemouth need their leaders now and it's a shame
Francis is not n the team but Andrew Surman has the experience to get AFCB through
a tough match wit Liverpool.
Of course Bournemouth have a huge task in their next away game. Liverpool will be a test that Bournemouth will get up for though. That is what was so disappointing about the Cardiff defeat. Bournemouth didn't thrive because they didn't get up for the fight. Coming off the back of the Chelsea win it was a fall off in emotion. The game will be different against Liverpool as playing the league leaders is a massive challenge. This is where reputations get made and the world's cameras are on you in the big games.

While the introduction of Artur Boruc added a different dimension to Bournemouth's defence, the presence of a different figure in goal hasn't mended the problems just in front of the goal. The defence has looked confused and communication has gone awry at times. Whether Steve Cook and Nathan Aké should be the central defenders that go all the way to the end of the season just might start to be questioned. I'd like to see Mepham get a chance but perhaps not against Liverpool. Eddie Howe would probably think it is too much to expect him to do well against one of the most attacking teams in the Premier League, but if he did come in and do well you could see Mepham suddenly oust one of the central blocks of this Bournemouth team.

Some times changes are needed. Whether Howe feels the players just need time to recover or more drastic action needs to be taken we will see next Saturday. Howe doesn't like to change things very often though and he'll hope that things will come right as they did against Chelsea.
