International experience will benefit Brooks

It may not have been a great afternoon yesterday for David Brooks, but he got on the score sheet for Wales against Croatia as a second half sub in the 2-1 defeat. The away match will have been more top-class experience for the young Bournemouth winger who is starting to make an impact on the international scene.
Davis Brooks star is still on the way up.
Eddie Howe has been supportive of his players being involved in internationals although he doesn't want any of them to get injured. A crooked David Brooks doesn't do anyone any good and he had only trained for two days before this match with another match due on Tuesday for Wales. Still, Brooks must be tremendously excited whenever he does get to put on a Welsh shirt, and it may be more of a struggle to stop him from being over exuberant in these games.

The value of these top internationals will surely spin Brooks' career along at even faster speed. If he can start to be a factor in European Championship qualifiers he is surely going to gain in confidence and knowledge. Playing with better players is also going to teach him more, and if Ryan Giggs starts to see him progress he is going to start more games for Wales.

The rate at which Brooks is developing is something special. While other young players have been held back at AFCB, Brooks is being pushed on more and more. There might be a worry about burn out, but I think Brooks is just enjoying his football and if he happens to be playing well, while not thinking too deeply about what he has already achieved, it is no bad thing. It's when players feel they have made it and that everything should just come to them that a problem arises and I just see Brooks wanting to learn, which is good news for AFCB.

In other news, Josh King was involved in Norway's 2-2 draw with Romania on Friday. Jefferson Lerma should also turnout for Colombia against Peru later today.
