What can Eddie to improve on home performances?

The quality of the finishing went up a gear or two in the match against Southampton, and Bournemouth are going to have to be just as good or even better against Spurs to get something from that game. The tried and trusted runs of Fraser are still providing the best and most fruitful of opportunities for goals, but with Gosling expected to be out, AFCB won't be counting on his supporting runs to bag more goals for a while.

The swap and change nature of the team at the moment is quite a headache. Still, the players that are available have a job to do and I'm hoping that we can see more sharp shooting against Spurs. The game plan could well be to go at the game, like AFCB did against Chelsea at home when they didn't have a lot of the ball in the first half, but didn't get discouraged and found the net on the counter. The counter-attacking goals are still flowing well at the moment and, even though Brooks has not scored of late, he is getting back to his early form.

I think the balance of the team is very important when playing a top side and Brooks has to keep the right side as busy as Fraser is on the left, for Spurs to be given something to think about when AFCB do go for the counter-attack. There have been a few games where Brooks has been ready to score the goal, when Gosling has been in the box seat, and it is likely that the ball will come to Brooks sooner or later in front of goal. It would be a great season for Brooks if he can be the third highest scorer for the team and underlines what a special talent he is.

Whether Eddie can get more out of AFCB at home may be down to the likes of Brooks in front of goal as much as trying to keep the team compact at the back. If AFCB can't get out though to get the ball to players like Brooks, it will be hard for them to trouble Spurs.
