Can Danjuma become AFCB's new sensation?

AFCB fans have been mourning for long enough. Players are going to leave when the club drops down a division and new players will arrive, but have we looked closer at what we already have at Dean Court? Arnaut Danjuma has had a red hot pre-season and rather than talking about wantaway Ryan Fraser or high-wages Matt Ritchie, AFCB fans should be encouraged by what Danjuma has shown in pre-season.

Is Danjuma Bournemouth's bright new star?

Go back a couple of months and we saw Arnaut Danjuma send back an awful pass in the game against Leicester City that resulted in Nathan Aké blocking a shot from Jamie Vardy that ended the Dutch defender's last game for the Cherries. It wasn't Danjuma's best 45 minutes of football and he was subbed at half -time.
Move on a couple of months and Danjuma has almost been reborn. He will feature on the front cover of the Blackburn Rovers MatchDay programme and he deserves to be highlighted as one of AFCB's main men now with his eye for goal and newfound confidence. I don't know of that many Bournemouth players that have been in sparkling form in 2020. Perhaps Junior Stanislas did find his best form at the end of the season, but it has taken a while for Danjuma to find his feet. Now I hope Danjuma continues to go at teams and fire Bournemouth up the Championship. We have to find new heroes and I wouldn't be surprised if Danjuma is one of the first players that AFCB fans have to come up with a new song for. I do like the look of Danjuma playing upfront and perhaps by coming in off the wing more often he will benefit from this freedom.

In other news, AFCB has been linked with Charlton keeper Dillon Phillips to replace Aaron Ramsdale.
