Jordan Ibe thrills Dean Court - AFCB 1 v 0 Cardiff City

Jordan Ibe stole the show at Dean Court with an early 11th minute goal that had everybody nodding at what £15m buys you these days. Ibe will endear himself to the Bournemouth fans with his willingness to get forward and have a pop at goal and Cardiff struggled to contain him and Ryan Fraser who made a pleasing home return. Liverpool's loss is AFCB's gain and with Brad Smith also playing his first game in red and black, the new look AFCB is taking shape.
Jordan Ibe is already setting a high standard at AFCB.
The team news was most welcome from AFCB as back from injury came Adam Smith, Steve Cook and Benik Afobe, as well as Ryan Fraser. Brad Smith made his debut at left back, while Corey Jordan also made his senior debut in the first team at centre-back.

Hitting the target is still an annoyance that will only get better with more practise, but there is much to admire about AFC Bournemouth even when they don't put the game out of sight. Afobe and Grabban were guilt of missing chances, while AFCB will be closely monitoring Harry Arter and Adam Smith who both came off early.
