Aston Villa away could be a big day for AFCB's Callum Wilson

While AFCB fans revel in the form of Josh King and Benik Afobe there is real hope that Callum Wilson is heading for a swift return. It may be pushing it for Callum to make his return in time for the trip to White Hart Lane or Man City at home, but I have a suspicion that the match against Aston Villa on 9 April could see a welcome return to the squad for Bournemouth's goal machine.
When will Callum return? Aston Villa game is my prediction.
If that is the target for Callum he would have six games left in the season to get a real feel for the Premier League again. Eddie would probably have to think about resting either King or Afobe to put Wilson into the side and by the time of the Aston Villa game it will be hoped that the Cherries have passed to 40 point mark. That would lessen the pressure a little going into the Villa match, but every point is important as AFCB look to finish as high as they can.

Callum is the kind of player that will be desperate to get back and to finish as AFCB's top goal scorer. It is in his make up to be the player that takes that pressure on. Harry Redknapp has said that Wilson is a 20-goal a season man even at this level and there is no doubt that Eddie Howe's plans for this season were massively disrupted when Callum and Gradel became injured in the Stoke City away and Leicester City home game, respectively. But in a way it has probably made AFCB stronger as more players have been exposed to the Premier League than might have been had the injury list been shorter.

Callum's return will be a moment when like Max Gradel took to the pitch again at Watford - the family will feel back together. AFCB fans will be very joyous to see the number 13 shirt and it will draw a line under what has been a difficult and testing time for the team. Positivity has always been strong in the squad, but with Callum and Max back on the pitch there will be even more reason to get down to Dean Court or as I say Aston Villa.

When do you think Callum will make his return?
