Will Eddie let Jayden Stockley transfer to Exeter City?

It was not so long ago that I thought Jayden Stockley would become a leading striker at AFCB. He had played for the team while still being at school and had a hand in keeping the season up during the -17 season when Eddie Howe first became a manager. There has been a lot of time that has flown past since that 2008-9 season and there has been an awful lot of football played and yet Jayden has not registered many more games in a first team shirt since those early days.

Jayden has scored 10 goals in 22 appearances for
Exeter City this season in League Two.
Jayden's portfolio reads like a who's who of lower league teams. You name it, he's probably played for them. Such is the life of a footballer trying to make his way in the English divisions. This season though he has found some real form and it has attracted Paul Tisdale to make an offer for him if recent news reports are correct. So what does a 22-year-old striker at a Premier League club want with his future you might ask? No doubt he wants to play games and for the best team he can.

That option has always been available at AFCB and yet Jayden has found that the club moved much quicker than anyone would have expected up the leagues. Had the club remained in League Two or One, the likely outcome would have been that the fans at Dean Court would have seen much more of Jayden by now. While Eddie will know Jayden better than anyone I am sure he will help him come to a decision and speak honestly with him.

I always want players who come through AFCB's academy's to get their chance in the first team one day and yet it is very few who manage to do that. Jayden was tremendous when the club needed him to perform in what must have been a great time for him but with the chance to play every week at a club where has been doing well it is quite possible that Jayden might join the Grecians and if he does I wish him the best of luck, but he won't be forgotten for what he has done for AFCB.

Transfer Rumour
There is also rumour that AFCB are interested in Spurs' Ryan Mason but while Spurs dream of an exchange deal with Callum Wilson there is next to no chance of any deal.
