It's great to have a top scorer like King at the club

For two seasons running in the Premier League it is Josh King who has finished on top of AFCB's goalscoring chart. He may have started the season as the second striker behind Callum Wilson, but he has more than earned the right to be considered AFCB's top marksman and the Cherries would be in a very different position without his goals.

Josh King can be happy with his work this season.
Ian Wright said King's goals would be worth in the region of 12 points for AFCB this season and that would have put the Cherries firmly in relegation land. It's hard to put a price on a striker like Josh King as his worth is priceless to AFCB at the moment. Josh has been moving up the goal charts and is now eighth behind Lukaku on 24. Of those above Josh King for the number of goals this season most are being linked with a probable move in the summer and while it is hoped that King stays, he must himself be very pleased that he has jumped above players like Eden Hazard, Saido Mane and Jamie Vardy in the goal scoring stats.

The manner in which the goals have come must also be satisfying for him. Matters really stepped up with his hat-trick against West Ham. It was in that match that Josh also missed a penalty and it's clear that Josh could score more if he was a bit luckier, He's not just scored against the bottom sides either, as he has got on the scorer's sheet against Chelsea, Man Utd and Everton.

It is apparent though that King's goals have come when he has been the main striker. He may now need to lead the line next season for the team and that Callum Wilson may have to adapt his game a little, especially of he has lost any of his pace.
