Bournemouth go to the Emirates having never taken all three points from that stadium since 2015, when they were first promoted to the Premier League. It's been a home banker if you like for Arsenal, but could that all be about to change?
AFCB have already beaten Aston Villa and Southampton away and if they could follow it up at the Emirates it would be an even bigger win. AFCB have managed a win against Arsenal at Dean Court, but it is another thing doing it in London where the crowd and atmosphere is probably not as conducive to AFCB's players. But Bournemouth have to start to rise to these challenges and take points off the top teams, if they are going to step up a level themselves.
Arsenal's home form is steady but not impregnable. They beat Burnley and just about managed to come back in time to beat Aston Villa 3-2, having been 0-1 down, and had a 2-2 draw with Spurs their arch rivals when they had gone behind 0-2. So going behind is something that has happened a bit too frequently for Unai Emery's liking, I would think. So a sharp start by AFCB could be the way to upset the Gunners.
Like Bournemouth, they have been conceding goals - 11 in all from their seven games. So the defence is not the wall it has been in the past. The big threat is Aubameyang who has started the season well and has a staggering seven goals already. But if he can be kept quiet the midfield of Xhaka, Guendozi, Saka and Reis-Nelson should not overly send tremors through AFCB's players.
Arsenal are beatable, even on their own ground, and this is probably the best chance AFCB will have to try and prove that since they have been in the Premier League.
