Eddie Howe is not one to change the team fully that often for league games, and he will be aware that the players have done well enough so far this season. But he also has to think when it is wise to freshen things up a little, if some have slipped down in their play from the high levels, and against Crystal Palace he can't afford anybody to be slightly of the pace.
Eddie Howe will be asking who wants it the most? The difficult part is seeing how many of the team that played Burnley should be allowed to have another go. It's all part of a daily headache for a manager and Howe will have been thinking it over for several days. It's not an exact science. It must be on his mind though to recall Lewis Cook and perhaps let Lerma have a game on the subs bench.

If Daniels is fit, it could also be a good time to bring him back in. Daniels knows the standards and will want his shirt back. The defence is the biggest worry for me as Bournemouth haven't been getting clean sheets. There has been little criticism of Steve Cook or Nathan Aké and yet Francis who has not been getting more than 20 minutes has been getting a fair amount of stick. Adam Smith has also been able to keep his shirt, but the defence is perhaps the part of the team that is least Premier League standard and Howe hasn't got as many options as he might like with just Simpson, Mings and Rico along with Francis to rest up some of the back line. So my starting 11 looks like this for tonight. UTCIAD!

Charlie Daniels could be back in the starting line-up if Rico is struggling. |
While managers look at stats and talk to the players about how they are feeling it comes down to a gut feeling about who is going to do better on the day for me. Players can be brilliant in training and then not deliver in a match day situation. Others won't train well, but can tun it on in a match situation. You need players that turn it on when the pressure is there and an evening game with the lights on in front of a capacity crowd, it should be a big game against Crystal Palace tonight.
