Confidence at home what can Bournemouth do away?

Playing Watford at Vicarage road s always a hard match. There is added incentive though for this game with both teams looking to cement a spot on the top six. Bournemouth are out scoring Watford by 12 goals to 11 but the goals against for the Hornets only reads 8 whereas its 12 for the Cherries.

In other respects the two teams are fairly similar in both having won three home games and won one away match. Watford have only conceded four goals at Vicarage Road and Bournemouth have let in seven on the road, averaging more than two a game. That is the stat that Bournemouth have to improve if they are to get something at Watford. The Cherries have also own scored two goals away from Dean Court having failed to score at Stamford Bridge and Turf Moor.
The Cherries have only picked up three points on the road this season.
Possession should be fairly equal with Bournemouth managing an average of 407 passes a game compared to Watford's 346. Bournemouth's pass accuracy might give them an edge at 78 per cent, while Watford are averaging 70 per cent. But Watford are well ahead on crosses with 130 compared to Bournemouth's 107.

At the back Begovic has made 17 saves this season, whereas Ben Foster has only made 13. Watford have blocked 22 shots and Bournemouth 23. Where Bournemouth will have to watch out is on interceptions Watford have managed a massive 107 compared to Bournemouth's 55.

The form of Bournemouth at home has been a match with almost any team, but they have only managed to win at West Ham united so Eddie has to find a system that works better at Watford.  What should give hope is that Man Utd beat Watford at Vicarage Road and if Bournemouth can make it a low scoring game they could hit Watford on the break if they get the early goal. With Brooks and Fraser in good form it could be another day for the wingers to excel.

In other news, AFCB have finally said something about the stadium plans and the word is that we can forget about a new stadium in 2020-21.
